Aurora Alimentos slows operations due to falling demand for Brazilian poultry

Aurora Alimentos has put 1,283 workers on paid leave for 30 days due to falling demand for Brazilian poultry meat

The company said in a statement that it's cold storage capacity has reached its limit, with the result that production must now be slowed. This will be the second of such actions by Aurora, with a third to be considered in July.

This announcement comes in the wake of poultry giant BRF's CEO resigning and the EU banning imports of Brazilian poultry meat.
